[Nicolas Cage walks back in.]

A mere 24 hours after the Internet fretted about Nicolas Cage’s wellbeing and/or shamed him into submission, the actor has returned to the cast of Joel Schumacher’s hostage drama Trespass, and he’s even agreed to take back his original role playing Nicole Kidman’s husband. (All apologies, Liev Schreiber.) The production has delayed its start date by a couple of weeks, but otherwise things seem to have evened out—which is kind of anticlimactic, we know, but hopefully Cage worked in some sort of conditional clause where his character now only speaks in Esperanto or he gets to punch Nicole Kidman in the face or something. We can dream.
