Night At The Museum 3 is being thrown together at this very moment

In the works for three years now, due to the success of its two predecessors and the fact that there are still museums in which Ben Stiller has not yet fallen down, Night At The Museum 3 is now officially on the way to a December 25, 2014 release. Ben Stiller will, of course, be reprising his role as the guy for whom history’s greatest treasures are one big, wacky pain in the ass, while director Shawn Levy will return to curate another exhibit of things precariously piled on top of other things. Not confirmed yet is what other actors might be on board besides probably Owen Wilson, or which of the world’s many museums it might take place in. Although, co-writer Thomas Lennon joked in 2009 that it would be set in the Liberace Museum—a plot twist that, while it undoubtedly excited Robin Williams, would be hindered by the fact that the Liberace Museum closed the very next year, possibly just to make sure this could never happen. Perhaps we could instead suggest the Icelandic Phallological Museum? It has over 200 different specimens of jarred penises! Jack Black could play a whale penis!
