No Country cleans up at the Oscars
Last night Hollywood gathered to congratulate itself and for once the backslapping was warranted—the brilliant No Country For Old Men won best picture, director(s), adapted screenplay, and best supporting actor. Also taking home trophies were (duh) best actor Daniel Day-Lewis for There Will Be Blood, best actress Marion Cotillard for La Vie En Rose, and supporting actress Tilda Swinton for Michael Clayton.
