No new Superman film for a while
According to darkhorizons.com, a sequel to 2006's underwhelming Superman Returns won't see the dark of theaters until at least 2010. The reasons? Director Bryan "I ruined Superman AND X3 in one fell swoop" Singer has a "busy schedule," and writers Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris have opted out of the franchise. Also, there's that little Justice League movie in the works, which will feature Supes alongside Batman, Wonder Woman, et al. The article mentions the possibility that, if indeed ever made, the new Superman film will follow Ed Norton's upcoming The Incredible Hulk by completely disregarding its predecessor and going for a total revamp.
