No one wants to buy David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman series

Despite a seemingly rock-solid premise—namely, building a new show around a comic-book character whose TV heyday was the late 1970s—David E. Kelley’s proposed Wonder Woman series seems to be dead, having failed to find a buyer among any of the networks. Not even NBC was interested, and it’ll reboot just about anything. As EW reports, one of the deciding factors may have been the cost, considering the licensing fee required to bring the franchise to the small screen would have been exorbitant, especially considering the Bionic Woman-y risks involved. It’s too rich for basic cable’s blood, in other words, meaning that the project is likely finished for now. Although, the article does quote a source saying that producers still haven’t given up on the project; perhaps Kelley can just work Wonder Woman into a guest role on Harry’s Law?
