Righting the grievous wrong that is Norm MacDonald’s absence from regular series television, Comedy Central has given the green light to Sports Show With Norm MacDonald, which will find him back in front of a live audience, commenting on happenings in the sports world with his usual comedic bluntness. Its first eight episodes are scheduled to premiere in April, likely serving as a companion or alternate to a certain other humorous sports show currently on the network. It’s actually been kind of a busy week for MacDonald, as it was just announced on Monday that he would be taking over for Gabe Kaplan as the host of GSN’s High Stakes Poker this season. But yeah, this is better.
