In a near-perfect collision of trashy pop culture and Web culture, Wikipedia has sparked a minor controversy by falsely reporting the death of comedian Sinbad. Sinbad tells the Associated Press that, after rumors began, hundreds (yes, entire hundreds) of people began calling and writing to check up on him. It's the most non-urgent not-dead news since Ace Frehley.
