Now that the writers are back, will the actors go on strike?

You know, these Hollywood strikes are like buses—the minute one leaves, you know another is probably around the corner. Now that writers' strike has been resolved, the Screen Actors Guild is under pressure from stars like George Clooney, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, and Meryl Streep to begin contract talks as soon as possible before the current contract expires June 30. Clooney brought the issue to light last week at the Oscar nominees luncheon when he expressed concern that some in SAG believe negotiating power increases by waiting as long as possible to start talks. "I think there's a lot of strike fatigue, and I think you actually start losing negotiating power," he added. "I would hope we in the Screen Actors Guild get back to the table."
