Now there’s a third Benghazi movie in development
As everyone knows, the only thing more tragic than a deadly terrorist attack is letting a deadly terrorist happen without any movies being made about it. The 2012 attack on an American compound in Benghazi luckily avoided this fate when Michael Bay announced his Benghazi film, 13 Hours—which recently added The Office’s David Denman to its weirdly sitcom-heavy cast. Then, following in the footsteps of World Trade Center—which came out a few months after United 93—Fifty Shades Of Grey producer Dana Brunetti acquired the rights to tell the story of two Navy SEALs who died in the Benghazi attack. Suddenly, a thrilling competition to see who could make the best/most respectful/least tactless Benghazi movie was on!
