Now you see the trailer for Now You See Me 2, now you don’t

The 2013 thriller Now You See Me was all about a team of varyingly intolerable street magicians who discovered that a mysterious figure was grooming them to join a secret society of supposedly “real” magicians—as in actual magic, not illusions. Along the way, they stole money from some bad people and got chased by FBI agent Mark Ruffalo, but in the end it turned out that Ruffalo was the guy behind the whole thing, and he welcomed them into his secret society (which he may have been the only member of). It’s a little ambiguous about whether or not he really had access to actual magic, but this trailer for Now You See Me 2 either negates that ambiguity or it takes place in world of shockingly advanced hologram technology. Jesse Eisenberg controls raindrops, newcomer Lizzy Caplan shoots doves out of her clothes, Dave Franco disappears in a cloud of cards, and Woody Harrelson continues wearing a hat even though it’s clearly silly. If that doesn’t prove magic is real, then nothing will.

Now You See Me 2 will be in theaters on June 10, 2016.
