Oct. 4, 2009: The Death Of The Emo Haircut

The poster boy for the so-called “emo haircut,” Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has ended his long-term affair with the flatiron, at least for the time being. At Sunday night’s Fall Out Boy/Blink-182 show at Madison Square Garden in New York, Wentz declared it was “the death of the emo haircut,” and had Blink’s Mark Hoppus shave his head onstage while FOB played “Saturday.” So that’s it, Wentz-haters: Nothing left to mock! Let’s all move on, shall we?

10/4/09: Never Forget. Fare thee well, man-bangs.
