Of course, the International Space Station will screen The Force Awakens

Because in space, no one can see you form an orderly queue, the astronauts who have recently set up residency in the International Space Station will dispense with the formalities and just screen Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens at some point in the near future. That comes from British astronaut Tim Peake (via Mashable), who shared the information in response to a concerned tweet from a fellow Star Wars fan.

Of course, bypassing the lines for first-run movies is nothing new for the International Space Station. Why, just this fall, the astronauts who underwent rigorous training for the continuing mission to seek out new life and new civilizations (or, at least, study the physical changes in their bodies during their time in space) were able to watch The Martian from somewhere high above Matt Damon. The ISS has been outfitted with a projector for such tasks, which will presumably screen the film while scientific things like research go on in the background. The ISS team obviously has access to Twitter, which means it’s probably already taken some solemn oath to keep space and Earth spoiler-free zones.
