Old Lines aims to capture you with “Traps”

Guitarist Mitch Roemer spent time in Pulling Teeth and Ruiner, two of the most bruising hardcore bands in the history of Maryland (we’re pretty sure it says so on the state’s official tourism site). So when he formed his current band, Old Lines, expectations were high. And with the group’s new full-length, No Child Left Behind, they’ve been shattered. Impassioned, outraged, and equal parts fist-pumping and bloodcurdling, songs like “Traps”—which is being debuted here—satisfy all the hardcore prerequisites.

No Child Left Behind will be released October 14 via No Sleep Records.
