The little film that could, last year's Once continues to trade on its Oscar-fueled success and is now heading for the Great White Way. Tony-winning producers John N. Hart Jr., Jeff Sine, and Fred Zollo have acquired the theater rights to the low-budget film, and are aiming to premiere the Broadway musical version during the 2010-2011 season. No cast or creative team has been announced, but the stage musical will include songs from screen version of Once, including the Oscar-winning "Falling Slowly," as well as songs written by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova for the film that didn't make the final cut.
