Oprah Winfrey is bringing her arena-sized personality to an arena near you. This September, the billionaire lifestyle icon (ICONNNNNN!) will launch her eight-city The Life You Want Weekend tour. Winfrey, Eat Pray Love author Elizabeth Gilbert, pastor and Pete Holmes pal Rob Bell, OWN’s Iyanla Vanzant, and, in certain cities, Deepak Chopra will all bring their life advice, mantras, and linen pants to 18,000-seat arenas for two zen-like days at each stop.
Tickets for dates in Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Miami, Newark, Seattle, San Jose, and Washington, D.C. start at $99, and can run up to about $,1000 if attendees actually want to meet Winfrey. Toyota and Olay will sponsor the tour, which Oprah says is about “living the life you want”—while at the same time, financing the life Oprah and Oprah’s friends want.
