Bill O'Reilly unhappily referred to Stephen Colbert as "this French guy makin' fun of me" after the 2005 debut of The Colbert Report, but maybe he's warmed up to the idea. On Jan. 18, O'Reilly will appear on Colbert's show, and Colbert will appear on The O'Reilly Factor. Riffing on and/or walking right into the arrogance Colbert parodies, O'Reilly told the Associated Press he's "Really looking forward to speaking to a man who owes his entire career to me," and of course Colbert's sound byte isn't all that much different in spirit: "It is an honor to speak face-to-face with a broadcasting legend, and I feel the same way about Mr. O'Reilly."
