Our Planet's creators hope their wildlife doc will help people understand the urgency of climate change

Netflix recruited the creators of the Emmy-winning Planet Earth for a new wildlife documentary series, Our Planet. The eight-part series, which debuts this Friday, will focus on “the breadth of the diversity of habitats around the world,” and offer “never-before-filmed look at the planet’s remaining wilderness areas and their animal inhabitants.” We spoke with executive producer Keith Scholey, and director Adam Chapman about the documentary series and how they hope it will help people understand the urgency of climate change.
