Despite a recent, well received turn as an awards show host, Drake’s not quite walking away from the whole music thing. The More Life artist has just announced this year’s OVO Fest, which will take place in Toronto (as usual) on August 7. Where previous iterations ran the course of a three-day weekend, it looks like OVO Fest 2017 will be limited to one day, which sounds more like a concert than a full-on festival, but at least Drake managed to nab PartyNextDoor, Majid Jordan, Dvsn, and Roy Woods for the lineup. Wait, those are all just OVO artists. Are we sure Drake isn’t just having a housewarming or something? Then again, he did supply a poster for the event, and note the ticket sale date (Thursday, June 29), so maybe everyone just expects to still be recovering from the 50th annual Caribana.
