Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath mumble out details about a new record
The recently reunited Black Sabbath—minus drummer Bill Ward, for whatever reason—has announced a new album. 13 will be out sometime this June, just in time for summer festival season, with production by comeback impresario Rick Rubin. It’s Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler’s first record together since 1978’s Never Say Die!, and it will mark the group’s return to its original label, Vertigo, which is now part of the Universal Music Group.
Black Sabbath plans to tour Australia, New Zealand, and Japan this spring, and will announce additional, hopefully North American tour dates in the near future.
