As we learn in the trailer for season two of Netflix’s Narcos, Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) remains an imposing figure even in dad jeans. Despite ostensibly being under arrest, the drug lord walks right past all of the armed military personnel to his freedom, in much the same way that the real-life Escobar walked right out of prison one day. That “biggest blunder” in law enforcement fires up the DEA agents played by Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal, and a full-scale invasion is planned. But Escobar didn’t get to the top of the cartel just to be taken down by Oberyn Martell, so by the video’s end, we see that it’s the DEA agent who’s in perilous circumstances.
Season two of Narcos premieres September 2 on Netflix.
