Marriage proposals are romantic and all, but throw in the presence of Nick Offerman and they can be downright amazing. That’s what happened last week at L.A.’s Everything Is Festival, thrown by the fine people behind the found footage site Everything Is Terrible. Organizer Dimitri Simakis proposed to his girlfriend Suki-Rose Etter with the help of a romance-loving Offerman and the lyrics of a Pat Benatar classic. Granted, Offerman wasn’t as involved as The A.V. Club would like—we’d want him to present us with the ring, growl the proposal, and then marry us—but the fact that he was there at all is pretty damn perfect.
