Passion Pit going on a rather large tour this fall

It’s been a year since Passion Pit released its second album, Gossamer, but it's soon to make up for that inactivity in a major way. The band begins a massive tour next month that includes many shows with Welsh trio The Joy Formidable and several festival stops. The tour also includes two nights at Pier 36 in New York City, where tickets will be discounted for fans who missed Passion Pit’s Madison Square Garden show in February due to a blizzard. The money from those ticket sales will also be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Tickets for most dates go on sale this Friday, July 19. There are presale tickets available at this site, where fans can also enter to win a meet and greet with the band.
