For the third year in a row, Patton Oswalt will be the host of the Webby Awards. Oswalt has previously hosted the awards show in 2012 and 2013, and—given his ability to dazzle the Internet with lavish Halloween costumes, Star Wars rants, and even the occasional outburst, such as EPIX mishandling his latest stand-up special—it remains an ideal pairing. This year the Webbys will take place on Monday, May 19, with the whole thing available for streaming on WebbyAwards.com the following day. As always, it’s difficult to predict which meme will win “Meme Of The Year,” but if past winners are any indication, it’s likely that disgruntled cats will have another strong showing.
