Paul Feig is making yet another comedy about the ladies
Professional friend to women Paul Feig will most likely direct a new lady-centric movie written by The Other Woman scribe Melissa Stack. The actual plot of the pic is still under wraps, but it’s supposedly taken from one of Feig’s original ideas, and it will serve as a “vehicle for a group of ethnically diverse comic actresses,” according to Deadline. So maybe it’ll be Transformers, but for women. Or Tropic Thunder, but for women. Or What To Expect When You’re Expecting, but for women.
Feig and Jessie Henderson are producing the movie, which is expected to be an R-rated comedy. Feig’s next R-rated comedy with a lady is Susan Cooper, which stars Melissa McCarthy as a secret agent who somehow interacts with both Jason Statham and Rose Byrne.
