Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters gets a new title for home video

Despite the fact that fans of the newest Ghostbusters movie probably shouldn’t answer any random calls over the next couple of months (Spoiler alert: There’s a troll on the other end of the line), the film’s Blu-ray release will exhort viewers to do just that. In order to differentiate the 2016 Ghostbusters from the other, regular Ghostbusters—or maybe simply because it’s kind of annoying to say, “oh, no, I meant the other Ghostbusters” all the time—the official home-video title for Paul Feig’s gender-swapped comedy reboot will be Ghostbusters: Answer The Call.

The release includes an extended version of the film that’s 15 minutes longer than the theatrical cut, as well as a variety of special features, like “Totally Possessed Alternate Scenes,” “Supernatural Featurettes,” “Hysterically Haunting Gag Reels,” and “Jokes-A-Plenty alternate take reels,” because Paul Feig’s got hours of this stuff just sitting on his hard drive, so they might as well use it.

Ghostbusterettes, The Ghostbusters With The Girls In It, Ghostbusters: I Thought I Blocked You Already, and Ghostbusters: Vagenda Of Manocide were all apparently a little too on the nose.

Ghostbusters: When A Stranger Calls—sorry, Answer The Call—will be released on Digital HD on September 27, and Blu-ray and DVD on October 11.
