Paul Rudd will co-star in Adam Scott’s final Greatest Event In Television History

In the first episode of The Greatest Event In Television History, Adam Scott got his Friends With Kids co-star Jon Hamm to help recreate the opening titles for Simon & Simon. The second featured Amy Poehler and Horatio Sanz for a re-enactment of the Hart To Hart credits sequence. Then Scott upped the ante with his A.C.O.D. co-star Catherine O’Hara and Chelsea Peretti, Jason Mantzoukas, Jon Glaser, and Kathryn Hahn (who have all either guest starred or written for Parks And Recreation) for Too Close For Comfort. Now Scott will again collaborate with a prominent Parks guest star: Paul Rudd has joined the fourth installment of Adult Swim’s The Greatest Event In Television History, which Scott says will be the last. Rudd previously appeared as the meticulous director of the Simon & Simon episode—praising Gus Van Sant’s Psycho as inspiration, no less. The prevailing theory is that Rudd will help recreate the opening of Bosom Buddies, as suggested by the hairstyles in the above photo.
