Thank God fine publications like Radar are paying attention to such inane events as aging rockers' product-endorsement gatherings. Wednesday night, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS were shilling for a new toy guitar, and in a stunning display of failed badassery, Stanley tried to smash it and failed. (This at a Hard Rock Café, no less.) Also, this gem from the always-charming Simmons, joking about plastic surgery: "I made my shmeckle twice as big. So there are some advantages. It spins. It has a spin and dry cycle and whips up a good goddamn froth. That's F-R-O-T-H."
