In honor of its new web-exclusive series, Icons Remixed, being officially released, PBS Digital Studios is holding a contest to find who can best remix Mister Rogers, who we all know loved remixes as much as he loved sweaters and whistles.
Users are encouraged to download readily-available clips from the group's SoundCloud page. Sound bytes include drums, strings, bass, vocals, and a choir among other things.
The instructions for submitting the remixes will be in the video description of a new Mister Rogers remix that is premiering tomorrow morning on the PBS Digital Studios YouTube channel. The winner will likely be paid in YouTube views, something that makes you ponder how different the world would be if those were actual currency.
