Somewhere, Cameron Crowe’s ears perked up and his nose wrinkled, because Pearl Jam just announced a slew of North American tour dates for 2016. If Crowe wants to again turn the “hagiography” setting on his camera to maximum force, he’ll have plenty of time, because the band’s live shows don’t kick off until April. The group will begin in Fort Lauderdale on the 8th of that month, then continue through into May, ending the first leg in Canada. From there, it’s a brief break, save for a headlining spot at Bonnaroo, until they wrap up with two shows each at Fenway Park and Wrigley Field in August. Tickets for all the April and May dates (save Bonnaroo and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival appearance) go on sale Friday, January 29. (Though, as always, the band’s fan club members already get first crack at pre-sale tickets, which can be found—along with more information about the tour—on their web site.)
