People Still Buy Music: Michael Buble's reign of Christmas cheer continues

'Tis the season for throwback crooners to make buckets of money by swingin' with your favorite holiday classics, as Michael Buble once again tops the Billboard albums chart by moving 293,000 copies of Christmas. Buble has now become the seventh artist to sell more than 1 million albums in 2011, and with a couple of weeks left to go before Christmas, he's poised to move hundreds of thousands more. Almost benefiting from the holiday season is Adele, whose 21 shoots back up to No. 2 with 144,000, making it the go-to gift for parents, aunts, and uncles who were really into music once and kinda want to hear something new. Justin Bieber is also filthy with Xmas green, coming in at No. 3 with 133,000 units of Under The Mistletoe.

There were no debuts this week, and no other release sold more than 100,000 copies. The rest of the Top 10 includes: Drake's Take Care (No. 4, 90,000), Nickelback's Here And Now (No. 5, 78,000), Mary J. Blige's My Life II … The Journey Continues, Act I (No. 6, 72,000), Rihanna's Talk That Talk (No. 7, 68,000), Andrea Bocelli's Concerto (No. 8, 61,000), Now 40 (No. 9, 48,000), and Lady Antebellum's Own The Night (No. 10, 48,000).
