Pet Shop Boys announce U.S. tour for late summer

It’s been a while since a lot of people cared about Pet Shop Boys, but the icy duo does have a solid catalog of pulsating dance hits executed with the cold precision of a contract killer. And the group’s latest album, Yes, is supposed to be pretty good, so there might be reason to think that fans won’t be sitting on their hands waiting for “West End Girls” or the classic cover of The Village People’s “Go West” when PSB hit the States later this year. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe promise the tour—called "Pandemonium"—will feature a “multi-media” presentation mixing hits and new songs, and a “very up show” that “you won’t want to sit down for.” Is it cool if we just stand there and stare blankly?
