Pitchfork Music Festival announces 2013 dates, layaway plan for cost-conscious Grimes fans

Mark those ironically antiquated paper calendars: The 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival will take place July 19-21 in Chicago’s Union Park. Beginning today, a limited amount of three-day passes are on sale for $95, and when those sell out, regularly priced passes will be available for $120. Fans can also purchase one-day tickets for $50. As a holiday treat for more budget-conscious Grimes fans, the fest is offering a layaway plan that allows purchasers to spread out the not-so-hefty cost of the pass over three easy payments.

No acts have been announced yet, but passes always sell out quickly based purely on speculation of who might play (Radiohead??), so those interested should act quickly.

Japandroids, The Men, and other Pitchfork 2012 artists play "would you rather"
