Pixar offers some details on its movies about dinosaurs, brains, and dead people

Confirming promises made during last summer's D23 Expo, Pixar used yet another convention appearance at CinemaCon to talk up forthcoming projects about dinosaurs and brains, and all of the heartwarming and anthropomorphized things that they do and feel. The first of these now has a confirmed May 30, 2014 release date (a year after the Monsters, Inc. sequel, so right on Pixar time) and title, The Good Dinosaur, telling the God-defying story of a world where dinosaurs never went extinct and some of them became strong female dinosaur attorneys embroiled in myriad political scandals, maybe. Almost exactly a year after that will see the June 19, 2015 debut of Pete Docter's still-unnamed film that bears the working title Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind—which sounds perfectly fine to us as is, perhaps with the embellishment And Then There Are Brain-Creatures In There That Make You Laugh And Care About Them. And finally, Pixar also revealed some details on Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich's new project based on the Mexican holiday of Dia de Los Muertos—a film that Variety says will also debut in 2015, giving Guillermo del Toro just enough time to get his own similar project out in theaters, or just add it to the list of things he was attached to at one time and simply forgot about, because Pixar.
