There's no way to say this without its inherent ridiculousness rubbing up against the tragically senseless end result it caused, but here goes: Atlanta police investigating the murder of 24-year-old rapper Slim Dunkin say the shooting stemmed from an altercation over candy sold at the recording studio where the killing occurred. "Someone came in and struck him and a fight ensued," homicide detective David Quinn told a local TV station. "Now the information we're getting, and it's unconfirmed but witnesses are saying that this whole thing started over a piece of candy." The shooter, who is still unidentified, went out to his car during the dispute, grabbed a gun, and shot Dunkin. Police are still investigating the incident. [via Billboard]
