Posters from the entire Star Wars saga, in Lego form
Between all the licensed building sets, Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, the bundle Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Lego has most of your Star Wars needs covered. But like an master builder with an expert eye for a missing brick, Lego has found a new Star Wars territory to co-opt into its perfect, connectable world: Posters for the entire Star Wars Saga (so far).
Mashable posted the posters, inspired by Drew Struzan, and created by Lego for attendees of the annual Star Wars Celebration, held April 16-19 in Anaheim, CA. They’ve adapted the layout and look of Struzan’s work quite well, right down to the ESB poster’s highly reflective Vader and scowling Emperor that are pulled from ROTJ scenes. There’s something for everyone here; PT fans can appreciate the bricked-conflict between Lego Anakin and Lego Obi-Wan, while grumpy OT purists can appreciate that the Lego prequels can’t look any worse than the actual prequels. And we can all agree that Lego Sith eyes are just straight-up creepy.
