President Obama to take questions on YouTube, home of intelligent political discourse

Once again fully embracing social networking even when he probably shouldn’t, President Obama has announced that he will subject himself to another livestream interview on YouTube next Thursday as a follow-up to Tuesday’s State Of The Union address. Those wishing to submit questions should keep them to “about 20 seconds long” and remember that, as we learned during Obama’s last YouTube-based interview in 2010, he doesn’t want to talk about marijuana, even if users vote for it this time too. It’s sort of like a modern-day version Roosevelt’s fireside chats, if Roosevelt's fireplace were actually a cage of frenzied howler monkeys calling each other gay.
