Preview pics for the next Game Of Thrones hint at big meetings and vulnerable noses

Last week, we presented a series of preview images from Game Of Thrones that indicated that Ed Sheeran would not be appearing in the new season’s second episode, “Stormborn,” and now HBO has released a new batch of photos we can overanalyze in hopes of determining which popular musical acts will or will not be in the next episode of the show. It actually doesn’t look like any bands or singers will be visiting Westeros in “The Queen’s Justice,” but let’s examine the photos anyway and see if we can make any wildly off-base predictions for where Game Of Thrones is going.

Here’s Varys giving Daenerys some important advice at Dragonstone, and at the risk of spoiling upcoming photos, we’d have to guess that his advice is “sit down on your new chair and wait for Jon Snow to arrive.”

Sure enough, here’s Daenerys on her chair. It doesn’t seem especially comfortable, but compared to the Iron Throne and its abundance of pointy bits, it’s probably a delight.

And look at that, here’s Jon Snow and Ser Davos. Jon looks as confused as he usually looks, while Ser Davos is probably thinking about the time his buddy Stannis used to hang out at Dragonstone.

Stepping outside, here’s Varys and Melisandre having a conversation of their own. She’s kind of a schemer who tries (and usually fails) to manipulate events, and he’s the best damn schemer in the seven kingdoms, so maybe she’s looking for some tips. Or maybe Varys is wondering about what happened to Gendry?

Heading up to Winterfell, this looks like Littlefinger is leading Sansa somewhere. He has a particularly untrustworthy look on his face, and she seems understandably wary of whatever he’s doing, so this is probably bad.

And now we’re going back to Dragonstone, with Jon and Davos getting off of a boat. They’re wearing the same outfits as the previous photo, so this is probably right when they arrive. Niether of them seem like they’re enjoying this trip very much, so hopefully one of them makes a joke about “needing a vacation from this vacation.”

Tyrion appears to be outside, so he’s probably greeting Jon and Davos as they get off their boat. He also doesn’t look very happy. Tyrion is probably a lot better off now than he was earlier in the show, but he certainly doesn’t seem to have as much fun as he used to.

Finally, here’s Grey Worm, ready for battle. The Unsullied are supposed to be an unequaled military force, but has anyone ever tried to just bop one of them in the face while they’re wearing one of these helmets? It seems like you could just shatter someone’s nose with a well-placed hit. Anyway, Grey Worm finally got a sex scene in the last episode, so he’ll probably die soon. Maybe this photo was taken right before he dies from some Lannister soldier bopping him in the nose?
