Primal Scream has announced a new record, More Light. Out May 6 in the UK, More Light is the band’s first since 2008’s Beautiful Future and the first on the band’s new label, First International. It also may or may not feature contributions from Robert Plant, depending on what tracks made the final cut.
The first single, “2013,” features My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields on guitar and clocks in at over nine minutes long. The video runs a little shorter, but it still crams in plenty of freakiness. Tie on a bejeweled face mask, sew some moths together, and check it out.
