As part of his continuing quest to make the world a sexier place, Prince has recorded the theme song to an afternoon news show. The Newsy One’s jazzy instrumental excerpt can be heard during Tamron Hall’s News Nation, which airs every day from 2-3 p.m. EST on MSNBC.
If afternoon news fans are lucky, Prince could perform the theme song with his 22-piece band this Saturday at SXSW. Nothing’s been officially announced yet, but it’s rumored that he’ll pop up on La Zona Rosa’s “specially remodeled stage” March 16.
