Prince will release not one but two new studio albums this fall. Both will hit stores Sept. 30, and while the first, Art Official Age, is a solo LP, Plectrumelectrum is a collaborative effort between the Purple One and his new band, 3rdEyeGirl.
Both albums are available now via ArtOfficialAge.com, with early purchasers gaining access to “instant grat” tracks. One of those, “The Breakdown,” is streaming below.
Prince’s last proper solo LP was 20Ten, released in (you guessed it) 2010 as an exclusive for readers of the UK’s Daily Mail and Daily Record newspapers.
