Previous trailers for HBO’s Vice Principals have shown some of the outrageous hijinks that co-vice principals Danny McBride and Walton Goggins will get up to in their battle for control of the school, but neither trailer actually revealed the principal whose job they’re fighting over. As it turns out, that man is none other than Bill Murray, whose appearance in this promo is probably spoiling what would’ve been a fun and mostly unexpected cameo in the show itself. It’s too late to worry about that, though, because now we’ve all seen Bill Murray giving Goggins and McBride a stern talking-to about vice principal stuff. There’s not much to this promo beyond that, but seeing Bill Murray is always fun.
Vice Principals will premiere on HBO in July.
