Pro-Christmas folk protest "insensitive" Black Christmas

Even the clunkiest of ironies is lost on some folks: Reuters has a story quoting religious and pro-"family-values" advocates who take offense at the remade slasher flick Black Christmas (which is set around the holidays and due to be released on Christmas Day).


"To have a movie that emphasizes murder and mayhem at Christmas, a time of celebration and joy around the world seems to be ill founded," said Mathew Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, an organization dedicated to upholding religious freedom and traditional family values.
