Professor Marston & The Wonder Women reveal their secret identities in new trailer

Just in case you didn’t pick up on the parallels between Wonder Woman’s secret identity and the secret life her creator William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans) lived with his wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall) and their lover Olive (Bella Heathcote), the newest trailer for Annapurna’s upcoming biopic about the unconventional trio, Professor Marston And The Wonder Women, lays the theme on thicker than the rope around Diana Prince’s neck in one of Moulton’s bondage-inspired drawings of the character. Still, for the sex-positive types out there, this trailer has it all: Polyamory, bisexuality, and BDSM, all presented in a positive, empathetic light and polished to a glossy prestige-pic sheen.

Compared to the cryptic teaser released early last month, this new trailer lays out the film’s plot in much greater detail. But you’ll have to wait to see how it all turns out when Professor Marston And The Wonder Women crashes its invisible jet into theaters on October 27.
