Puppet versions of Freddy, Jason, and Ghostface serenade you with “Dream A Little Dream”

The slashers of yesteryear can still prompt nightmares, even in the minds of puppets. In the latest installment of Glove And Boots, Mario has a nightmare following eating too much food. He’s visited by felt versions of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Ghostface from Scream, all singing their own rendition of “Dream A Little Dream.”

While this isn’t the first time that Freddy has appeared as a puppet, unlike that scene in A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, this one is much more whimsical and doesn’t end with a teenager’s bloody death. It’s an impressive act of musicality and puppetry and a fun way to remember how effective those monsters used to be at haunting the dreams of people. Or, rather, given Mario’s Muppet-like appearance, it at least shows how effective they can be at haunting dreams of furry-type things.
