The wonderful, wonderful Cat Power/Chan Marshall posted an update on her MySpace blog this weekend. Perhaps it's just the hangover from her disappointing performance at Pitchfork this year, but it's a little daunting to hear that she's got 24 covers to sift through for the planned Covers Record Vol. 2, apparently due out in January. For those of you who don't enjoy access to MySpace, here's an excerpt:
