Queen will, Queen will rock you in the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer
Yes, this is real life, no, it’s not fantasy: The trailer for the Queen rock biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, starring Rami Malek as frontman and cycling enthusiast Freddie Mercury, was unveiled on YouTube this morning. The production of the film has been famously troubled, losing both original star Sacha Baron Cohen and original director Bryan Singer—who just stopped coming to work last November, and was fired as a result. But it appears to have ultimately triumphed, with a new director, a new star, and now a trailer full of operatic ‘70s stadium-rock bombast and Malek’s eerie embodiment of the late, great Mercury.
Bohemian Rhapsody takes a bow in theaters on November 2.
