R.I.P. Odetta
Folk singer and civil rights activist Odetta has died at the age of 77, Reuters is reporting. Though classically trained, Odetta is most famous for her role in reviving folk music in the 1950s and '60s. A singer at Martin Luther King Jr.'s march on Washington, Odetta continued performing through her final years. Here's a performance of "House Of The Rising Sun" recorded in 2005.
