R.I.P. Sopranos actress Denise Borino-Quinn

Denise Borino-Quinn, who played the wife of mobster John “Johnny Sack” Sacramoni on The Sopranos, has died. She was 46. Borino-Quinn worked at a New Brunswick law firm and as a part-time manicurist when she heard of an open casting call for The Sopranos; she was selected out of more than 14,000 actresses to play the part of Ginny, the wife whose weight issues are a running joke and, eventually, a deadly point of contention among the relationships between the New York and New Jersey mobs. Borino-Quinn had reportedly suffered from liver cancer for years.
