Rachel Weisz likely joining Oz, The Great And Powerful

Sam Raimi’s Oz, The Great And Powerful continues to earn its distinction as the one Wizard Of Oz-related project that could actually exist, a reputation shored up by the fact that it keeps casting real people in it and then telling the press about it. Today’s latest addition is Rachel Weisz as Evanora, the crueler older witch sister to Mila Kunis’ relatively nicer witch Theodora, with the two of them squaring off against James Franco’s huckster Wizard. Between Weisz, Kunis, and Franco, this film lacks only an Eva Green or maybe an Abe Vigoda to be one of the greatest collections of celebrity eyebrows every committed to celluloid.
