Radiohead drops Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video, actual album release date
These days, when Radiohead news hits, it comes in spurts. Earlier this week, the group released its new song, “Burn The Witch,” along with accompanying video. Now, the group has released yet another song, “Daydreaming,” along with its rumored Paul Thomas Anderson-directed clip. It’s an appropriately moody clip, with a greasy-haired Thom Yorke strolling through seemingly disconnected room after room. There’s not much action to it, but that’s Radiohead for you.
But wait, there’s more! The group now says its new record, the title of which is still unknown to the public, will be out digitally Sunday, May 8 on XL Records, hopefully on all the different streaming and downloading services. Physical copies of the record will be released a little bit down the road, on June 17.
Radiohead is set to play several festivals this summer, including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
